About the Role
As the Head Mechanic, youll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop. From diagnostics and complex engine repairs to mentoring junior technicians, your role will be varied and impactful. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organised, and can manage multiple jobs efficiently without compromising on quality.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Saturday: Flexible hours

Key Responsibilities
Carrying out diagnostics, engine work, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
Overseeing workflow and job allocation in the workshop
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
Liaising with management and contributing to the continuous improvement of workshop operations
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience, including engine diagnostics and repairs
Strong technical knowledge across a range of vehicles and systems
Ability to manage workshop operations and lead by example
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A proactive and reliable attitude formal qualifications or a driving licence are not required
