Job Overview
The Head of IT and DS is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all information technology functions across the Group. The role oversees IT infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, business applications, and digital transformation initiatives. This position will lead the design and implementation of an integrated technology environment that supports the Group’s growth, operational efficiency, and

Job Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute the Group’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
Lead digital transformation initiatives and drive technology-enabled improvements.
Establish IT governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
Systems & Infrastructure Management
Oversee enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, and cloud systems.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT environments.
Lead integration and optimization of ERP/CRM and business applications
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks and data protection protocols.
Oversee IT risk management, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and privacy requirements.
IT Operations & Service Delivery
Manage IT operations, support services, and service-level performance.
Drive ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Ensure efficient helpdesk operations and user support across all locations.
Project & Vendor Management
Lead major IT projects including deployments, upgrades,and integrations.
Manage vendors, technology partners, and service providers to ensure value delivery.
Oversee IT procurement and contract negotiation.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization
Prepare and manage the IT budget
Implement cost-efficient solutions and ensure optimised technology spend
Track and report on IT financial performance
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead and develop the IT team to ensure strong technical capability.
Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
Build a culture of reliability, accountability, and service excellence
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 10–15 years progressive experience in IT leadership.At least 5 years in a senior IT management or head‑of‑function role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
Master’s degree (MBA, MSc IT, MSc Information Systems) is an added advantage.
Professional Certifications: ITIL Foundation, COBIT, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, AWS Certification, Azure Certification, SAP Certification, Microsoft Dynamics Certification.
Experience managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and operations.
Proven track record with ERP/CRM implementation and systems integration.
Strong background in IT governance, AI and Automation, cybersecurity, and risk management.
Experience leading digital transformation across multiple business units.
Demonstrated success managing IT projects, vendors, and service providers.
Experience in designing and implementing IT policies, standards, and architecture.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, networking, and business applications.
