We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Algorithmic Trading to lead our algo trading team in the day-ahead and intraday power markets across CWE and the Nordics. The role combines deep market insight with automation and data-driven decision-making to deliver efficient and adaptive trading strategies.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in power markets, strong quantitative skills, and a track record in algo trading and automation. You will oversee the continued development and optimization of our algorithmic trading framework, working closely with IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure robust, compliant, and high-speed execution. As Product Owner of the algorithmic trading framework, you will define the roadmap for ongoing improvements, ensuring that the platform evolves in line with business needs, market developments, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves close collaboration with the quantitative and analysis teams, as well as with other intraday desks managing portfolios of physical assets, to ensure coherent strategy development and optimal market performance.
