As the Head Housekeeper at our esteemed hospitality establishment in Torquay, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the property. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in all guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
