It provides the flexible infrastructure to allow society to evolve and respond to changing conditions. Technology and the ingenuity of people come together to be at one with our environments and to care for our world. We do this from the macro to the micro level, from physical products, components, and systems to connected, cloud-based digital offerings and services. Siemens offers a broad portfolio of grid control and automation; low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control; and building automation, fire safety and security, HVAC control and energy solutions.
JOIN US! WE MAKE REAL WHAT MATTERS. THIS IS YOUR ROLE"
As the Head of Hospitality & Healthcare - Digital & Sustainability, you will lead market development and sales growth for integrated digital, energy-efficiency and decarbonization solutions across hotels, resorts, hospitals, healthcare networks and allied facilities. You will build the vertical strategy, originate opportunities, engage senior customer stakeholders and position solutions that improve asset performance, operational resilience, energy productivity, occupant and patient comfort, and progress toward sustainability goals.
The role requires a strong blend of vertical insight, consultative selling, solution orchestration and commercial ownership. You will work across sales, engineering, service, delivery, finance, partners and product teams to convert customer priorities into scalable, outcome-led propositions.
· Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Hospitality and Healthcare verticals, aligned with digitalization, energy efficiency and decarbonization priorities.
· Segment the market by customer type, portfolio size, operating model, asset maturity and sustainability ambition to prioritize high-potential accounts.
· Build vertical-specific value propositions, use cases, account plays and repeatable commercial propositions for India.
· Develop a strong ecosystem with consultants, operators, owners, developers, facility-management companies, ESCOs and technology partners.
· Independently identify, qualify and develop opportunities across hotel groups, resort portfolios, hospitals, diagnostic networks and healthcare campuses.
· Create demand through strategic outreach, industry networks, executive forums, associations, events, partners, digital channels and referrals.
· Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline across new logos, portfolio expansions, modernization, lifecycle services and recurring digital business.
· Use CRM discipline to maintain opportunity quality, forecasting accuracy, next-step visibility and sales governance.
· Engage owners, operators, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, sustainability leaders, engineering heads, facility leaders and clinical-infrastructure stakeholders.
· Lead discovery to understand business priorities such as guest or patient experience, uptime, energy cost, asset reliability, compliance, standardization and operational visibility.
· Translate operational and sustainability challenges into measurable business cases covering savings, risk reduction, lifecycle value, service outcomes and return on investment.
· Lead customer workshops, concept presentations, solution demonstrations, site discovery and executive-level value discussions.
· Orchestrate integrated propositions across building and energy management, IoT-enabled asset monitoring, command centers, analytics, digital services, HVAC and chiller optimization, energy monitoring, solar, storage and other relevant sustainability solutions.
· Co-create technically feasible and commercially viable proposals with engineering, service, delivery, finance and partner teams.
· Develop portfolio-level approaches that can begin with pilots and scale across multiple properties, hospitals or campuses.
· Promote lifecycle and recurring-revenue models, including software, analytics, performance services and long-term customer-success engagement.
· Own order intake, revenue growth, gross-margin quality and target achievement for the assigned verticals.
· Drive opportunity strategy, stakeholder mapping, competition management, proposal quality, negotiation and deal closure.
· Create strategic account plans for priority customers and identify cross-sell, upsell, modernization and replication opportunities.
· Balance customer value, delivery feasibility, contractual risk, pricing discipline and long-term account potential.
· Ensure effective transition from sales to delivery, with clear outcomes, responsibilities, baselines and success measures.
· Partner with delivery and customer-success teams to track adoption, realized value, customer satisfaction and expansion potential.
· Capture references, success stories and reusable proof points that strengthen vertical credibility and accelerate replication.
· Use customer and market feedback to influence solution design, service models, pricing and portfolio roadmap.
· Monitor customer investment priorities, regulations, sustainability commitments, emerging business models, technology trends and competitor activity.
· Represent the organization in hospitality, healthcare, digital-building and sustainability forums.
· Build credible vertical narratives around operational transparency, resilient infrastructure, autonomous operations, energy productivity and measurable outcomes.
· Provide structured market feedback to leadership, product, marketing and strategy teams.
· Act as the vertical champion and mobilize regional sales, key-account, solution, service and partner teams around focused growth plays.
· Establish sales cadence, opportunity reviews, account governance and clear ownership for strategic pursuits.
· Coach teams on vertical use cases, stakeholder priorities, value articulation and consultative selling.
· Collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated customer experience.
· Experience: 12+ years in enterprise B2B sales, business development or vertical leadership, preferably in smart infrastructure, building technologies, digital solutions, energy services or sustainability.
· Vertical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hospitality and/or healthcare operating environments, stakeholder priorities, asset-intensive operations and investment decision processes.
· Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in lead generation, consultative selling, strategic account development, complex solution sales and senior stakeholder engagement.
· Digital & Sustainability Acumen: Ability to connect digital infrastructure, operational technology, energy performance and decarbonization outcomes to customer business priorities.
· Commercial Capability: Strong command of business-case development, ROI and lifecycle-value articulation, pricing, negotiation, contracts and deal governance.
· Solution Orientation: Ability to integrate multiple technologies and services into a coherent, outcome-led proposition rather than sell standalone products.
· Tools Proficiency: Working proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft 365; comfort using data and dashboards for pipeline and business management.
· Communication: Executive presence with strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation and written communication skills.
· Mindset: Entrepreneurial, externally oriented, collaborative and accountable, with the ability to build a market while driving near-term results.
· Engineering or technology degree; a postgraduate qualification in business, energy, sustainability or a related field is an advantage.
· Experience with hotel chains, hospital groups, real-estate owners, operators, consultants or facility-management ecosystems.
· Exposure to digital building platforms, building automation, HVAC optimization, energy analytics, renewable energy, storage or performance-based solutions.
· Experience building multi-site or portfolio-level programs and scaling pilots into repeatable business.
· Qualified pipeline creation and conversion across Hospitality and Healthcare.
· Order intake, revenue, margin quality and recurring digital or service business growth.
· New customer acquisition and penetration of priority strategic accounts.
· Pilot-to-scale conversion and replication across multi-site customer portfolios.
· Customer adoption, realized value, reference creation and long-term account expansion.
