1.4.2.2 Main Responsibilities
a. Managing Asia Digital Engineering’s Engineering Support Services business unit work performance related to continuing airworthiness activities in a timely and economical manner and in accordance with Owner/Operator requirement.
b. Institute and maintain an effective and efficient administrative system in Engineering Support Services to meet the economic and operating targets, while complying with the company policy, regulatory requirements, customer requirement and safety Standard.
1.4.2.3 Qualifications
a. Hold Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML), or;
b. An aeronautical degree or a national equivalent qualification
c. At least 5 years of working experience in aircraft maintenance or continuing airworthiness environment.
1.4.2.4 Specific Functions
a. Ensure effective and efficient coordination between Engineering Support Services and operator with respect to engineering, planning and aircraft record work scope.
b. Ensure service capabilities in each department within Engineering Support Services are clearly defined and accountability for performance delivery is expressly understood by all staff.
c. Directs the development, implementation of policies, procedures and systems for Engineering Support Services to achieve good practices, standards and meet regulatory requirement.
d. Ensures adequate resources such as facilities, manpower, equipment, materials and finance are available for work performance.
e. Ensures resources are effectively administered and utilised in order to provide support and services function.
f. Establish and maintain an organisational structure with qualified and competent staff.
g. Ensure manpower training is executed as planned in order to meet the level of skills and competencies required by the job specifications for each staff in Engineering Support Services
h. Ensures the supervision of corrective actions are done as per audit requirement or any action items are acted upon during continuous improvement initiative.
i. Provides feedback to immediate superior for any deficiencies regarding standards and issues affecting the function and performance.
j. Perform any other relevant duty as assigned by the superior.
