Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Development

  • Implement and execute strategic plans, initiatives, and growth strategies formulated by the Corporate & High Net Worth desk in alignment with the Bank’s overall business objectives.
  • Drive business expansion by developing and growing the CHNW client base, including penetration into new geographical markets i.e. Sabah, Sarawak, Johor and Penang.
  • Enhance the CHNW desk’s market positioning and contribution to the Bank’s revenue and profitability.


Client Relationship Management & Advisory

  • Manage and build strong, long-term relationships with Corporate High Net Worth clients.
  • Provide high-quality investment advisory services, supported by timely market updates, sound execution capabilities, and tailored investment solutions.
  • Actively promote and cross-sell AHIB and ABB products and services to meet clients’ financial and investment needs.

Risk, Credit & Operational Oversight

  • Oversee clients’ trade settlement activities, credit exposures, and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Ensure prudent management of business risks in line with the Bank’s risk appetite framework.
    Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure full adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, including Securities Commission guidelines.
  • Uphold the Bank’s internal policies on compliance, risk management, and ethical standards.
    Foster a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and professionalism within the CHNW team.


Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the CHNW team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
  • Support talent development, performance management, and succession planning within the function.
