Position: Head Girls Swim Coach
Location: Glenwood Springs High School
Employment Type: Part-Time, Seasonal
Start Date: November 9, 2026

Glenwood Springs High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Girls Swim Coach to lead our high school swim program. We are looking for a leader who will inspire student-athletes in and out of the pool, build a competitive and character-driven program, and serve as a positive role model within our school and community.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the girls swim program, including practices, swim meets, and team development
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team culture aligned with the values of Glenwood Springs High School
  • Support multi-sport participation and academic accountability among student-athletes
  • Develop coaching staff and collaborate with lower-level coaches to ensure program continuity
  • Engage with families, alumni, and the broader community to grow support for the program
  • Ensure compliance with Roaring Fork School District and CHSAA policies and guidelines
  • Coordinate facilities, equipment, and team logistics with the Athletic Director

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous head or assistant coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level
  • Strong knowledge of swim strategy, fundamentals, and swimmer development
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to connect with and motivate student-athletes of diverse backgrounds

Salary Range: $4,521.00 - $5,696.00 depending on previous paid experience in this sport.
