PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To perform receiving and issuing of the materials in an efficient and effective manner whilst adhering to policies/procedures and setting targets for departmental achievement in line with the long-term objectives of Marula Platinum.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate is essential.
• At least 1 year experience in the store's environment is essential
• SAP and Computer knowledge will be an advantage
• Knowledge of warehouse processes in receiving and issuing.
• Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be very accurate and diligent.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of warehouse, yard and plant related spares will be an advantage.
• Medical Certificate or medically fit in order to obtain one

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:

• Will be responsible for the physical issuing of material to the end users
• To be able to work overtime as and when required
• Will be responsible for the physical receiving of material from the Suppliers
• Process goods issuing and receiving documents on SAP.
• Report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Correct filling of documents must be done on a daily basis.
• Stacking and packing of materials when required.
• Adhering to all safety related standards and good housekeeping.
• Must be able to perform additional duties as and when requested by the Supervisor.
• Assist with annual and cyclic stock takes.
