About the Role

If you are currently a head chef or an experienced Sous chef this role could be a great fit for you. As the Head Chef youll play a key role in the kitchen, supporting the other staff in crafting a menu that celebrates local produce and traditional pub classics with a modern twist. Youll help lead a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring that every dish leaves the pass with the highest standard of quality. Key Duties

• Plan menus and create innovative dishes while maintaining cost control working to a pre defined GP target

• Ensure consistency and quality in every dish, from preparation to presentation.

• Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

• Contribute to the development of new seasonal dishes and specials.

• Assist in Management of inventory and stock

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-quality kitchen environment.

• Passion for using fresh, local ingredients and creating seasonal dishes.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
