Head Chef

Job Brief and Purpose:

We are currently looking for a passionate Head Chef.

As part of our team, your responsibility will be to ensure that our guests enjoy an outstanding culinary experience every day.

  • Coaches and counsels team members to reflect the department’s cooking standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring the correct set up, handover, and breakdown of the kitchen.
  • Accountable for short and long-term planning of the department’s needs.
  • Comply with company, HACCP, and other legislative regulations.
  • Develops and recommends budgets, labor cost plans, and objectives and manages functions within those approved plans.
  • Able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
  • Able to build a team that he/she will inspire daily.
  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are being met.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at a high level of performance.
  • Previous experience in 5-star luxury properties or international hotel brands.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
  • Attention to detail and a structured way of working.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Able to set priorities, plan, organize, delegate, and control.
