Job Description

Our partner is an acclaimed hospitality group with a vibrant portfolio of beloved, award-winning restaurants. The group has a successful track record of delivering extraordinary dining experiences that garner large followings. A  Head Chef opportunity has emerged for their lively New York-Italian gem in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to join a colourful, vivacious restaurant with a steeped history of culinary excellence. 
The Head Chef will direct and participate in the day-to-day operations, managing stations across the kitchen, equipping and inspiring the team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes. The Head Chef will ensure the kitchen operates in a highly organised, efficient, and cost-effective manner, whilst working closely with the FOH team to ensure seamless service.
We seek candidates who have:
  • 6+ years of culinary experience, with a focus on Italian cuisine,
  • 3+ years of Sous Chef experience, managing large, diverse teams,
  • The savviness to operate a high-volume kitchen (150 covers++/day), 
  • Familiarity with managing costs through efficient rostering, sourcing and purchasing, inventory control, waste-minimisation, etc., 
  • A commitment to delivering and upholding personal and team excellence, 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, 
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with ability to work effectively across teams, including FOH, marketing, PR, etc. 
The salary package is competitive and includes relocation support and visa sponsorship for applicable candidates. Additionally, there is abundant opportunity to grow and advance with the group as they continue to expand domestically and internationally.
