About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join the Pre-Opening Team at Oro Verde, Abu Dhabi.

The Head Chef will lead the kitchen team, oversee daily kitchen operations, and ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service. The role will also play an important part in preparing the kitchen and team for the venue's opening.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the kitchen team
• Support kitchen preparation and operations during the pre-opening phase
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and service
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety
• Assist with menu development, tastings, and recipe standardization
• Manage stock, ordering, food costs, and minimize waste
• Train and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with company and food safety standards
• Drive consistency and maintain the overall culinary standards of the venue

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of culinary experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a Head Chef
• Strong kitchen leadership and team management skills
• Experience in menu creation and kitchen operations
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passionate about food and delivering high-quality dining experiences
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
