We’re looking for our own in-house chef to make lunch the highlight of the workday. You’ll run the kitchen, create the menus and cook fresh food for around 70 hungry colleagues every day.

Responsibilities

• Cook lunch for +/-70 people every weekday, scaling up to 120 on peak days

• Design a rotating weekly menu: warm main, vegetarian/vegan option, salad bar, soup, dessert, snacks, etc...

• Source ingredients with a bias toward local and seasonal: you own supplier relationships

• Own food cost, waste management, and menu budgeting (target 30-35% food cost)

• Run HACCP compliance end-to-end — logs, allergen matrix, FAVV-readiness

• Handle special dietary needs across the team (vegan, halal, gluten-free, allergies)

• Cater internal events: team lunches, board meetings, product launches, kickoffs

• Communicate the weekly menu to the team in Dutch and English

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional kitchen experience

• Comfortable planning and executing at scale

• Experience in HACCP-certified and food safety habits

• Fluent in Dutch, working English (our team is international)

• Based in Ghent
