Job Summary

To lead a team of category management and contract novation teams within a region, ensuring categories are strategically managed for HCL's maximum benefit

Key Responsibilities

1. To Develop And Own Effective Relationships With Key Strategic Suppliers, Implement A Supplier Relationship Management Approach, Monitor The Supply Market Using Benchmarks And Category Indices, Manage The Contracting And Negotiation Processes, Evaluate And Improve Supplier / Category Performance In All The Technology Categories
2. To Develop, Implement And Execute Category Strategies, Annual Category Plans And Category Knowledge Bases (Ckb) For All Technology Categories Across All The Customer Spend Which Includes Identify Key Strategic Sourcing Requirements
3. To Increase Value From Supply Base Through Innovative Commercial And Contracting Models, Deliver A Global And Consistent Approach For Spend, Develop Savings Plans And Track And Report Actual Delivery Against Target For All The Technology Categories
4. To Plan And Manage The Team That Manages All The Technology Categories (Hardware, Software & Security, Services, Network & Telecom, Data Center & Hosting) During Both The Pursuit And Execution Of Customer Business
