Job Description

Primary objective

As the Sales Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the sales team and ensure the accurate and timely reporting of sales data. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, analyzing sales performance, and generating insightful reports to support decision-making processes. The Sales Supervisor will play a key role in driving sales growth and optimizing sales strategies and ensures achievement of sales and activations target.

Key Objectives:

1) Building of a robust sales team adept in sales management and service delivery

2) Effective daily management of Team Leads & Agents in line with the overall company’s vision

3) Set SMART goals MoM for the team to deliver on targets

Number of Persons managed/ supervised

  • 6-20 as per business need

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of sales representatives and a team leader providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Find new talent for the sales team to fill talent pipeline and manage interview and hiring process
  • Create weekly sales plan for sales representatives to maximise sales
  • To grow new and existing revenues through assigned channels and to build and develop relationships with relevant parties in accordance with business strategy
  • To achieve sales targets and objectives by supervising the daily operations of the Sales Team as assigned
  • Support in the creation of attractive and relevant offers, bundles or sponsorship opportunities that will promote the brand and provide incremental customer sign-ups.
  • Adopt cost effective measures as needed
  • Provide and maintain detailed pipeline reports that reflect expected sales/activation and revenue from Home and Entertainment products and any other subscription based service or as assigned with realistic timelines.
  • Liaise with critical departments such as Customer Care, Marketing and Technical Support in ensuring that clients uptime is maintained at optimal levels in accordance with companies S.L.A Agreements
  • Keep daily tracking of agent performance and individual improvement plans for underperformers
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reports fed in to the GTM Manager on sales plan, sales performance per team and per agent
  • Support in the provision of or conduct Sales trainings as required per new agent(s) and quarterly refreshers for existing agents
  • Monitor sales performance and conduct regular sales analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Manage the sales forecasting process and ensure accuracy and reliability of sales forecasts
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Attend/Present in meetings as required my line manager/HOD
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for Management and for financial administration purposes (e.g. EOD report)
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales performance evaluation and feedback into strategic decision making process, e.g. product development or network built
  • These include but not limited to: contact rate, rejection reasons, conversion rates per channel

And or any other duty as assigned by line manager

Academic Qualifications and Experience required for position

  • Degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ years administrative support at an executive level
  • Advanced MS Office experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • 3+ year experience in team management
