Field Fusion Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Determines appropriate method and equipment necessary to install pipe.

• Provides and installs custom HDPE piping systems and repair systems.

• Electro fuses and structures welds.

• Inspects and maintains fusion equipment.

• Communicates with customers to assess needs.

• Identifies installation and repair needs.

• Determines whether final product meets quality control standards

Experience/Skills/Abilities:

• Hands on fusion technics

• Experience in electro fuse and structure welding

• Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions

• Must be able to service and maintain fusion equipment

• Must be able to operate a forklift

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Ability to handle physically demanding manual work

• Walking, stranding, stooping, climbing, lifting is required on an ongoing basis

• Must be able to lift 60+ pounds on a regular basis

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
• Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
• Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.
• Written Communication Skills – Writing, Reading and Written Comprehension, and Written Expression.

At Reece USA, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$18.40 - $27.65

In this role you may be eligible for additional contributions to your total rewards package like commission, profit sharing, or an annual bonus. Total Rewards components may be subject to written plan documents.
