Brief description of the position

  • Promote healthy family interactions
  • Teach children and families new skills (social, emotional, problem-solving, safety)

Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

Requirements

*Minimum 60 or higher education credit hours in Social Services, Human Services, Health, Education;

OR

*Minimum 90 or higher education credit hours in an unrelated field;

OR

a High School diploma and 3 years' direct experience working with children in a behavioral health children's services program.

- Must obtain a provisional BHP certificate within 30 days of hire, and full BHP certification within a year of hire, training provided.

- Must obtain First Aid/CPR and Blood borne Pathogens certification with 60 days of hire, training provided

- Must complete Safety Care training within 30 days of hire, training provided.

- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
