Job Description

Help bring life-changing treatments to patients across Europe

Do you want your work to have a direct impact on patients' lives?

At Abacus Medicine Pharmaceuticals, we ensure that patients have timely access to critical medicines and support programmes across international markets. As our HCP & Patient Support operations continue to grow, we're looking for a German-speaking HCP & Patient Support Associate to join our team and play a key role in supporting healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing function at the heart of our operations. You'll work closely with customers, logistics, finance, quality, and healthcare professionals to make sure treatments reach patients smoothly and efficiently. No two days are the same, and your work will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes.

As we continue preparing for the launch of new programmes and expand our support across the DACH region, you'll have a particular focus on supporting German-speaking customers and coordinating sales orders, while also contributing to a variety of other processes and initiatives across the business.

What you'll be doing

As our HCP & Patient Support Associate, you'll act as a central point of coordination between multiple stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence and a seamless customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and validating customer information via phone and email
  • Managing and coordinating global orders to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical products
  • Supporting healthcare professionals, patients, and customers with enquiries and requests
  • Handling inbound and outbound communications in German and English
  • Ensuring customer data is accurately maintained in our systems
  • Triaging and resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinating closely with internal teams, including Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Commercial functions
  • Supporting controlled distribution and training programme administration
  • Providing customers with access to online training platforms and ongoing support when needed
  • Assisting with product, pharmacovigilance, and medical enquiry processes in accordance with internal procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences

Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to the ongoing development of our patient support operation.

What we're looking for

We're open to candidates early in their careers and see this as a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build experience within the pharmaceutical industry, customer operations, or healthcare services.

You could have a BA Hons Degree or something similar

We imagine that you have:

  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Previous customer service experience or a strong customer-centric mindset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience delivering training or supporting users through training platforms
  • Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or a regulated environment

Who you are

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, finding solutions, and continuously improving the way things are done.

You are:

  • Service-minded and passionate about helping others
  • A strong problem solver who takes ownership of challenges
  • Curious and proactive in identifying improvements
  • Confident speaking up and sharing new ideas
  • Comfortable working across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Able to thrive in an environment where priorities can change quickly

Why join us?

Make a difference for patients

This is not a traditional customer service role. Every day, you'll help ensure patients receive the treatments they need, when they need them. You'll work close to the front line of healthcare support, creating a direct and meaningful impact on people's lives.

Be part of a growing organisation

We're continuously evolving, launching new programmes, entering new markets, and improving how we support patients and healthcare professionals. Your ideas and contributions will help shape the future of our operations.

Work across borders and functions

You'll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across Europe, gaining exposure to a wide range of functions and developing a unique understanding of pharmaceutical operations.

No two days are the same

From coordinating orders and supporting customers to driving process improvements and participating in new initiatives, you'll enjoy variety, responsibility, and opportunities to grow.

Ready to make an impact?

Join us and become part of a team dedicated to improving access to treatment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Apply today and help us make a meaningful difference for patients across Europe.
