About the job

Working across both Orewa and Warkworth clinics, you will have a passion for helping clients to the best possible outcome and delivering an exceptional client experience by providing quality hearing assessments, fittings, teleaudiology and other services within their scope of practice.

  • The identification, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals with impairment of auditory and vestibular function
  • Fit hearing aids, test hearing aids and manage hearing aid fittings
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations
  • Take ear canal impressions
  • Assess and provide audiologic treatment for persons with tinnitus using accepted techniques that include, but are not limited to tinnitus retraining therapy, hearing aids, education, and counseling.
  • Determines the appropriateness of amplification systems for persons with hearing impairment
  • Build positive and professional on-going relationships with patients
  • Demonstrate excellent communication regarding hearing results, hearing aid management, and follow ups
