Job Description

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Coordinator is responsible for providing integral administration and general support in HCM for Calderys in India. This role is responsible for performing the administrative duties in the HCM associated with employee transactions (hiring, journeys, terminations, transfers, demographic changes, benefits, etc.); performing functions that ensure data integrity; and accurate processing and reporting of HCM data. In additional, this role performs first level (Tier 1) support and testing for HCM and end users. The HCM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring continued adherence to Human Resource operations.

1. Overseeing the compliance, monitoring, and maintenance of preemployment processes, including, screening processes, new hire record creation, initiating and supporting onboarding/offboarding processes. Serving as lead on employee file maintenance in accordance with regulatory and internal standards which includes receiving and indexing documentation related to employees, compiling files for records requests, audits etc. Converting candidates to employees in the HCM (Oracle) and communicating status with hiring managers and other members of the Human Resources team
2. Actively involved in cyclical processes including HCM quarterly release testing, implementations, integrations, year-end processes, and Supporting all Tier 1 end user support requests
3. Processing HCM personnel actions and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information such as promotions, transfers, separations, etc.
4. Auditing data to ensure reporting and dashboards will run correctly; producing ad hoc reporting as requested

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field; related experience may substitute for education
• Possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with demonstrated attention to detail
• Possess working knowledge of Human Resources and HCM concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
• Ability to be creative, exercise initiatives and drive process improvements (technical and non-technical) to enhance quality and increase productivity
• Ability to handle, produce, and maintain subject matters requiring privacy and sensitivity confidentially and discreetly
• Ability to consistently maintain a professional and positive demeanour and exceptional customer service
• Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and individual environment
• Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table, etc.)
