About the role
We have a new opportunity for a HCM BI Business Partner to join The Guinness Partnership Team. This is a full-time, 12 month FTC hybrid working vacancy based in our Oldham office.
This post will effectively translate business needs into efficient and maintainable Oracle HCM reporting solutions through the development of reports, dashboards and data extracts to meet business requirements.
What we are looking for
How we do things is just as important as what we do, so you’ll not only be shaping high‑quality reporting solutions but also ensuring they are delivered with clarity, accuracy, and strong stakeholder engagement. The role involves designing and producing reports using Oracle HCM Cloud tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and the Fusion AI Data Platform. You’ll gather and interpret business reporting requirements, support or configure Oracle HCM modules, and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data structures. Strong analytical skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the confidence to influence colleagues at all levels are essential, alongside demonstrating the Guinness Behaviours and the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:
Experience designing and delivering reports using Oracle HCM Cloud tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and Fusion AI Data Platform (previously Fusion Data Intelligence and Fusion Analytics Warehouse).
Strong and proven experience in stakeholder management, ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels across the business.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and ability to identify and present problems and solutions.
Ability to prioritise competing business requirements and respond effectively to changing business needs.
Experience supporting or configuring Oracle HCM functional modules (e.g. Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, Learning).
Proven ability to gather, analyse, and document business reporting requirements.
Experience identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes or data structures.
Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
Desirable skills:
Participation in HR system implementations or reporting redesigns.
Experience developing training materials or delivering training for self-service reporting.
Essential qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience in data analysis, information systems, or a related field.
Desirable qualifications:
One or more Oracle HCM Cloud certifications.
