Health Care Compliance – Contract position is a member of the Japan HCC team under supervision of the HCC Senior Manager of J&J Med Tech. This position provides support to the team specifically related to Due Diligence for Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) and Grants management to maintain its quality of standard. The incumbent will serve as a partner to business sponsors who manage such TPIs and carry secretariat function for Grants Review Committee. His/her support to HCC program team of J&J Med Tech may vary to implement other compliance programs such as communication, training, monitoring, transparency reporting, and data collection/analysis.

DURATION OF WORK:

The role is offered on a one-year contract with Johnson & Johnson MedTech, with renewal subject to budget availability and the incumbent’s performance.

  • Requires strong communication and administrative skills

  • Effective listener and communicator, being able to understand unique requirements

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strongly preferred: fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide input to due diligence processes and related documentation

  • Share information with the regional team and local cross-sector HCC colleagues

  • Serve as a primary contact; provide day-to-day guidance to covered employees on due diligence and grants processes and systems

  • Support the HCC program team in deploying policies and procedures through training, communications, change management, and implementation monitoring

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Program Management

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 3 years business, legal and/or compliance-related experience; preferred in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries;

  • Cross-functional and/or cross-sector experience preferred

· Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards for Japan, as well as the FCPA

  • Manages conflict in an open and constructive manner

  • Fluency in Japanese is required

  • Strongly preferred to have fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
