Qualifications

Position Summary
The Director of Daily Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and clinical functions of multiple mental health programs, including Mental Health Skill Building, Intensive In-Home, outpatient services, and residential programs.
This role ensures services are high-quality, efficient, compliant with state and federal regulations, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. The Director of Daily Operations will also provide support to Human Resources, including payroll oversight, in the absence of the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations across all programs
- Ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality client care
- Monitor workflows and implement process improvements
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations (DBHDS, HIPAA, OSHA, CARF standards)
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain licensing and accreditation standards
Staff Leadership & Development
- Supervise managers, clinical supervisors, and support staff
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment
Financial Performance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics
- Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management
- Drive operational efficiency to improve financial outcomes
Program Development
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop and expand services
- Enhance program effectiveness and service delivery models
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Strategic Planning
- Partner with executive leadership to align operations with organizational goals
- Support long-term planning and organizational development initiatives
Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and funders
- Represent the organization in community and professional settings

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services, Psychology, Health Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in the mental health field, including leadership/management experience
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of behavioral health services, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, make strategic decisions, and manage operations effectively
- Technical Skills: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and data tracking
