Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HC Truck & Dog Driver to join our team in Port Adelaide, South Australia. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and compliance, contributing to our reputation for reliability in the transport and rail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Operate HC truck and dog combinations safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Transport goods to various locations while adhering to all road regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate logistics.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment.

Do you have:

• Valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with dog trailer experience.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

• Successful applicants will be required to complete a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Police Check.
