of Responsibilities:
The Navigate Support role serves alongside the Student Success team to help first-year students at Highlands College become rooted, connected, and equipped for a successful college experience. This role provides consistent relational support, connects students to key resources, and reinforces developmental next steps throughout the freshman year.
By engaging students through intentional interactions, events, and follow-up, this role contributes directly to student success, retention, and holistic growth—academically, spiritually, and personally.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with first-year students through regular meetings, campus interactions, and Navigate events.
- Support the Navigate team in guiding students through their first-year experience at Highlands College.
- Connect students to essential resources, relationships, and opportunities that foster success and belonging.
- Encourage and monitor student progress by helping students identify and take appropriate next steps in their development.
- Serve as a consistent point of contact, offering encouragement, accountability, and support.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Navigate events and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Student Success team to address student needs and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain familiarity with Highlands College’s catalog, student handbook, and other key resources to accurately guide students.
- Track student engagement, progress, and challenges using designated systems and report insights as needed.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of student support resources.

Education:
Current Highlands College student in good standing.
Overall GPA of 3.25 preferred.
Extent of Public Contact:
Physical Demands:
- Moderate exposure to physical risk.
- Good physical condition is required.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

- This position is not a team lead for any Highlands College teammates.
