At Golden Eagle Sablefish, we are dedicated to sustainable aquaculture and the conservation of marine life. Our cold-water hatchery focuses on breeding high-quality Sablefish to support both commercial and environmental initiatives. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Hatchery Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our hatchery facilities. You will be reporting to the Hatchery Manager. Your expertise will help maintain equipment and systems critical to the health and growth of our aquatic species.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hatchery equipment, including water filtration systems, plumbing, pumps, and aeration devices.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Collaborate with hatchery staff to optimize operational processes and address any technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in hatchery operations as needed, including fish handling.
- Attend to on-call alarms during and after hours to address any issues affecting hatchery operations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Experience in facility maintenance, preferably in aquaculture, fisheries, or related environments.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hatchery operations preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
