About the Role
Due to the continued growth of the Dinmore Plant, we are seeking a full-time Harvest Supervisor (Kill Floor) to join our team. Reporting directly to the Harvest Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing slaughter floor operations to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and all relevant regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in fostering a culture focused on food safety, product quality, workplace safety, teamwork, and pride in workmanship.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the slaughter floor, maintaining compliance with customer specifications, export market requirements and regulatory standards. You will provide guidance and support to your team to ensure production and quality objectives are consistently achieved, while promoting a strong culture of food safety, animal welfare and continuous improvement. Working closely with internal stakeholders and regulatory personnel, you will help maintain the integrity of the FSQA system, support employee training and development and ensure safe work practices are embedded across all activities. As a people leader, you will also be responsible for fostering a positive team environment, managing workforce requirements and ensuring employees are supported and led in accordance with company values and expectations.
