About the Role

As a Grape Sorter, you'll be a key player in the winemaking process. You'll work on the sorting line during harvest, ensuring only the highest-quality grapes make it into our wines. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, a great team atmosphere, and being immersed in nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and remove leaves, stems, underripe or damaged grapes from freshly harvested fruit

  • Operate and monitor sorting equipment under guidance

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of sorting area and tools

  • Work closely with the cellar and vineyard team to support harvest operations

  • Uphold quality and safety standards at all times

Work Environment

  • Outdoor and indoor work, primarily on the crush pad with sweeping views of the lake and vineyards

  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods and working in varying weather conditions

  • Harvest typically runs from mid September to end of October, with extended or flexible hours during peak times

  • No previous experience required—just a great attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team setting

  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail

  • Enthusiasm for wine and a love for the outdoors is a bonus!
