Summary:
As a member of our Back of House team, you will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is hands-on and essential to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support the kitchen team in executing daily prep and service tasks
- Communicate effectively with Front of House staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed
QualificationsRequirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow directions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
