The Opportunity
Hark is building the AI operations layer for the physical economy — the 40% of U.S. GDP powered by logistics, field services, manufacturing, energy, and other real-world industries that still run on manual, repetitive workflows.
Hark is founded by Obaid Khan, the Founder of Motive — a company he helped grow from zero to a ~$5B valuation, 5,000+ employees, and an IPO that is weeks away. Motive is widely regarded as one of the defining companies of the physical economy.
Hark is Obaid’s second act. And this role is a front-row seat from day one.
We are looking for a Founding Sourcer to help build the team that will define Hark’s trajectory. You’ll work in-office in downtown San Francisco, directly alongside the founder and founding team, owning the top of the funnel for some of the most critical hires in the company.
This is not a traditional sourcing role — and it is not for everyone.

What You’ll Do
Own top-of-funnel sourcing for engineering, product, and GTM roles in a high-growth, founder-led environment
Partner directly with the founder and early leaders to deeply understand what “great” looks like for each hire
Identify, engage, and inspire top-tier talent through creative, thoughtful, and highly personalized outreach
Serve as many candidates’ first impression of Hark, telling a compelling and honest story about the company, product, and opportunity
Build and maintain high-quality pipelines using a mix of outbound sourcing, research, referrals, and talent mapping
Track sourcing metrics and continuously improve for quality, speed, and signal
Operate with urgency and adaptability as priorities evolve and the company scales
What We’re Looking For
1–4 years of experience in sourcing or early-stage recruiting (technical or GTM)
Strong sourcing fundamentals: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, structured outreach, and pipeline management
Excellent written and verbal communication — you know how to capture attention and build trust quickly
High work ethic, bias for action, and comfort operating without guardrails
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to deeply understand the business, product, and market
Someone who wants the hard thing early and sees intensity as an opportunity, not a downside
