About the role

Our Hargis Park worker is responsible for running the scoreboard at Hargis Park and handling all field duties.

This role pays $14.25 per hour. This role runs from May 29 - September 1, 2026

What you'll do

  • Run the scoreboard during games.
  • Sweep the pitcher's mound and home plate area.
  • Carry buckets of sand and other material.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel student
  • Able to carry up to 20 lbs. regularly
  • Able to work the score board
  • Must be dependable
  • Member of Bethel Baseball Team, preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job requires the student employee to work outside.

Must be able to broom the pitchers mound, home plate area.

Must be able to carry 10-20 lbs. (i,e, bucket of sand and other materials).

Be prepared for warm weather or rain as this is outdoors, rain or shine.

Expected Hours of Work:

This role runs from May 29 - September 1, 2026

Weekend work is required as most of the games will be on the weekend.

Expected hours per week are 30 - 40 hours.
