Your Role at Batesville:

As a Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for overall technical operations and quality of the hardware plating process.

  • The expected base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Checks and monitors quality of hardware and plating system.
  • Assists in maintaining high standards of quality for the area and resolves all hardware quality issues.
  • Ensure all paints ready for use daily on plating line and backline.
  • Ensures adherence to all standard operating procedures and quality control checks.
  • Assure equipment cleaning schedule is completed in the E-Room, vacuum chambers, cleaning systems and ovens.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure continued operation and high-quality product.
  • Inspect all rejected products to determine corrective action and counter measures to be taken.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous manufacturing experience with injection molding and plastic plating.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced setting
  • Must work independently and within a team setting
  • The ability to work a variable work schedule

Travel

Associate must be able to travel 5 % of the time.
