We are seeking a talented and experienced Hardware system engineer (at least 5 years of relevant experience) to join our small and highly skilled team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary systems that contains RF, hardware, and software and must have the passion to learn and integrate new technologies to our micro-services ecosystem.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle of system design, from definition to release as a product, mass production and ongoing product support.

  • ­ Define and manage system-level requirements and specifications
  • ­ Design multidisciplinary communication systems, architecture, interfaces, and integration plans.
  • ­ Create and maintain technical documentation such as system block diagrams, ICDs, flowcharts, and requirement traceability
  • ­ Perform system analysis, during the development phases (power/RF link budget etc...)
  • ­ Manage, lead and guide contractors in the fields of board design, RF design, and mechanical design.
  • ­ Work together with stakeholders like hardware, RF designers, software, firmware, mechanical designers and other stakeholders to ensure that the overall system architecture is aligned with product requirements in an optimized manner.
  • ­ Source of off-the-shelf hardware and RF components.
  • ­ Preparation SOW and liaise with contractors to deliver complex sub-systems.
  • ­ Lead and manage complex integration and testing processes involving hardware, software, firmware, and mechanics.

Requirements

You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and should have soft skills: strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as strong debugging skills and ability to work in tight schedule.

  • The ideal system engineer who we are looking for should have
  • ­ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or similar.
  • ­ At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary system hardware design.
  • ­ Expert in hardware architecture and system design.
  • ­ Knowledge and experience of electronic design and RF design.
  • ­ Knowledge in RF, transmitter/ receiver architecture.
  • ­ “Hands-on”- prototype system assembly, components soldering, experience with RF test equipment (VSG/VSA/VNA etc…)

Nice to have:

  • ­ Knowledge and experience in board design, digital, power and RF.
  • ­ Knowledge in communication systems like cellular 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, LoRa etc…
