PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hardware Specialist (Senior) to join our team in support of our customer located in St. Inigoes, MD.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare documentation for procurements (large and small purchases)
• Collaborate with ATC&LS Division project personnel and Acquisition Lead to perform material acquisition support tasking
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and processes
• Maintain and track procurements ensuring accurate records are kept
• Utilize Navy ERP to generate purchase requisitions regarding material or hardware services procurements
• Support data calls as needed
• Direct, oversee, and train junior staff in applying analytical techniques and methodologies
• Develop hardware acquisition procurement packages
• Experience with NAWCAD Procurement Group and NAWCAD Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) team
• Experience with Market Research and packages
• Utilizes business and technical methodologies to provide support of hardware, software and service acquisition and life cycle management for pre-award and post-award procurements and contract awards.
• Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
• Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
• Perform full life cycle Project Management in the areas of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling. Interface with GPLs and Government client organizations to coordinate and complete all project processes from requirements through delivery.
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) activities, coordinate status meetings, and produce detailed reports used by the team and management.
• Tailor standard tools to best support specific project reporting, continuous analysis, complex problem-solving, and the rebalancing of requirements throughout the duration of assigned projects.
Qualifications:
10 years of experience related to systems acquisition
• Of the minimum required 10 years of experience, at least three years of experience must include supporting Navy or other DoD programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data to provide meaningful information to various teams and stake holders within the organization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations.
• Active secret security clearance
 
Education:
• Masters degree in a Business, Management or another business-related discipline.
• OR Bachelors degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories required experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
