Job Description

MELLON Kosovο seeks to hire a Hardware Services Engineer.

Within the framework of its expansion, seeks to immediate recruit Field and Lab Service Engineers to support and maintain the portfolio of products, such us: electronic card acceptance machines (EFT/POS), cash dispense machines (ATM’s), queuing systems, cash management machines, etc., as described below:

  • Field activities includes field visits correlated with installation or maintenance activities such as troubleshooting and repairs, replacing specific spare parts - upon specific training
  • Lab repairs includes laboratory correction activities to electronic or mechanical components - upon specific training

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle on- call requests for the repair of equipment due to malfunction or failure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems and subsystems within lab environment and determine when assigned equipment is unrepairable
  • Able to troubleshoot computer hardware problems, update software configurations from written instructions or with guidance from support personnel.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the operation, capabilities and support of assigned electronic equipment and provide product and operation training to supervisors and operators.
  • Follows maintenance procedures and ensure that parts and tools needed to support and facilitate repairs are readily available.
  • Make recommendations to supervisors on ways to eliminate or ease field maintenance or operational problems.

Requirements

  • Expert in Operation, Support with electronic equipment
  • Understand usage of the Digital Multimeter and has a know how to solder irons
  • Communicating effectively with peers and supervisors, operators and customers
  • Availability to work where Mellon Κosovo operates or to travel abroad for training purposes
  • Holds a University Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering is of first preference, including electronics or relevant technical skills.
  • Have at least 3 years work experience in conducting mechanical/technical work and repairmen and maintenance of equipment’s including electronic systems.
  • Possess English proficiency to include reading, speaking and writing.
  • Must have a driving license and maintain a clean driving record for purposes of insurability
