Job Description

Who We Are:

We are a rapidly growing embodied AI company revolutionizing human labor. Leveraging cutting-edge robotics and advanced artificial intelligence, we develop transformative technologies that redefine how work is done across multiple industries—empowering businesses to streamline operations, boost productivity, and unlock new possibilities.

We are looking for a visionary Hardware R&D Lead to spearhead the development of our next-generation robotic platforms. In this role, you will lead the research and development of diverse robot form factors, ranging from single-arm systems to complex humanoid structures. You will be responsible for the entire hardware lifecycle, from deep mechanical design and component innovation to the successful integration of these systems into our active fleet.

Your Responsibilities:

Form Factor Innovation:

  • Lead the design and development of various robotic morphologies, including single-arm, dual-arm, semi-humanoid, and full humanoid systems.

Component Development:

  • Drive the R&D of high-performance hardware components, with a specific focus on function-integrated grippers and advanced end-effectors.

System & Cell Design:

  • Oversee the mechanical design of the entire robot system, including the surrounding periphery and robotic cells for industrial deployment.

Mechanical Excellence:

  • Apply advanced mechanical engineering principles to ensure durability, precision, and scalability of all hardware products.

R&D to Fleet:

  • Bridge the gap between experimental research and product-ready hardware, ensuring new developments are seamlessly integrated into our robot fleet.

Supplier & Prototyping Management:

  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and manage rapid prototyping cycles to iterate on hardware designs.

Qualifications:

Academic Background:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.

Robotics Expertise:

  • Proven experience in developing complex robotic hardware. Familiarity with humanoid or semi-humanoid kinematics is a strong plus.

Design Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and experience with simulation/FEA tools.

Component Mastery:

  • Deep understanding of actuators, sensors, and the development of specialized tools like integrated grippers.

Systems Thinking:

  • Ability to design not just the robot, but the entire functional environment (cells and periphery).

Leadership Experience:

  • Experience in leading R&D projects or small engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • Wellpass (gym membership).

  • Free meals at the workplace.

  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home when needed.

  • Direct collaboration with founders and cross-functional AI teams.

  • A high-impact role where your designs will move from the drawing board to the real world.

  • A motivated team and an open, innovative corporate culture.

  • Competitive compensation and state-of-the-art laboratory/workshop equipment.
