Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Hardware Product Manager based in Canada.

In this role, you will own and evolve a critical hardware portfolio that powers merchant experiences across retail and hospitality environments. You will define how devices are selected, built, launched, and improved across their entire lifecycle, ensuring reliability, scalability, and profitability at every stage. Working at the intersection of product, operations, and supply chain, you will translate merchant needs into impactful hardware solutions that shape day-to-day business operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, finance, and go-to-market to deliver high-quality product experiences. This position combines strategic roadmap ownership with hands-on execution, including vendor management and field performance analysis. You will operate in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment where decisions directly influence global merchant success and product innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end hardware product portfolio, including lifecycle management from launch to deprecation
  • Define and drive multi-quarter product roadmaps aligned with business strategy and merchant needs
  • Lead full product development cycles, including discovery, requirements, vendor selection, testing, launch, and iteration
  • Work closely with merchants to understand workflows, identify pain points, and translate insights into product direction
  • Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines, using field data to drive improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver successful launches
  • Ensure hardware solutions meet performance, reliability, and profitability goals at scale
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of Product Management experience in hardware or hardware-enabled SaaS environments (devices, POS, peripherals, or similar)
    • Proven experience delivering at least 1–2 full hardware product launches end-to-end
    • Strong understanding of the full hardware lifecycle: discovery, design, validation, launch, iteration, and deprecation
    • Experience with retail or hospitality ecosystems (POS, payments, kiosks, mobile POS, or related workflows)
    • Ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams
    • Strong product thinking with ability to translate user insights and data into clear product decisions
    • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics, unit economics, and operational insights
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to align stakeholders in complex environments
