What we do:
Moog’s Gilbert AZ facility is a leading designer of spaceflight hardware and is a part of the Spacecraft Avionics business unit in the Space & Defense Group. Moog has partnered with NASA to provide electronic solutions for the Artemis Orion Crew Capsule, Viper Lunar Rover, Satellite Laser Communications Relay, OSIRIS-REX to study asteroid composition along with complete satellite buses for the defense department.
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer (EE) to be a product engineer in our custom hardware spacecraft avionics projects team. Job scope includes translating requirements into electronics products; electronic design and development; supporting component procurement, manufacturing, unit/environmental testing, and product verification. The successful candidate will collaborate with electrical / mechanical / FPGA / software designers and other system engineers to produce design analyses and coordinate the manufacture and test of high-speed digital and power distribution circuit card assemblies and subsystems. The HW Product Engineer directly supports project lead engineer and program manager to ensure product development activities follow Moog’s phase-gate development process and that all product requirements are met, verified and thoroughly documented. Additionally, the HW Product Engineer will assist in interpreting and deriving lower-level requirements as necessary, to ensure delivery of a product that meets all customer needs. This position reports to the Lead System Engineering Manager whose team is responsible for design and delivery of all Moog Space Avionics products that do not fall within the Integrated Avionics Unit product line (i.e., all custom products).

Phoenix, AZ $80,000.00–$125,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
