Job Description

Hardware Installer
Location: American Products, Strafford MO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay: $17/hour + $2/hr Shift Differential

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Installer to assemble and install hardware components on metal enclosures. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing or assembly experience who can follow blueprints and ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
• Install hardware components such as hinges, handles, latches, and brackets on sheet metal products
• Follow blueprints, work orders, and instructions for accurate assembly
• Inspect installations to ensure quality standards and proper fit
• Use measuring tools to verify alignment and placement
• Troubleshoot and correct installation issues as needed
• Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional, reliable work ethic
Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Use hands repetitively for tools and assembly work
• Must wear steel toe boots and safety glasses
