What You'll Do
As a Hardware Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, testing, and commissioning Varian's advanced radiotherapy equipment. You will work closely with colleagues and customers to ensure successful project delivery and an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing and upgrading Varian products at customer sites.
Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting colleagues with problem resolution.
Performing customer acceptance testing and supporting customers during system handover.
Delivering basic operational training to customers.
Participating in ongoing technical training and professional development.
Recording activities using dedicated reporting tools.
Planning and coordinating your business travel and expenses.
Collaborating with customers, project teams, and technical specialists across Europe.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a recent graduate, an early-career engineer, or an experienced professional. If you have a strong technical foundation, enjoy solving problems, and are excited about working in a customer-facing environment, we encourage you to apply.
Preferred qualifications:
Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in a technical, engineering, service, installation, or customer-facing role is beneficial, but not essential.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Interest in electronics, electromechanical systems, and complex equipment.
Basic understanding of IT networks and computer systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are advantageous.
Travel Requirements
This role involves approximately 70% travel, with assignments typically lasting 2–4 weeks at a time Travel will mainly be across Scandinavia and Europe, with occasional opportunities to support projects in other regions around the world.
