Hardware Technician Job Description:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Hardware Infrastructure Technician Requirements:
·Some computer experience (hardware and/or software)
·Ability to use hand tools
·Ability to lift more than 40 pounds
·Ability to use ladders
·Organizational skills and ability to work in a team
·Ability to communicate an understanding of acceptance criteria with the customer and team
·Understanding of basic ethernet cable running
·Best practices, attention to cable management, attention to safety
·Understanding basics of Server Racking
·Best practices, attention to cable management, attention to detail, attention to safety, proper marking
Hardware Infrastructure Technician Desired Skills:
·Understanding basics of drafting and design

Hardware Infrastructure Technician Additional Requirements:
·Candidate must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
