The Work

As a Hardware Engineer Level 4, you’ll serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert responsible for architecting, designing, integrating, and validating advanced computer hardware systems.

You will:

Lead the full lifecycle design and development of complex hardware systems.

Own electrical schematics and hardware design documentation.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Lead hardware packaging and system integration activitiesLead prototype bring-up, integration, and validation testing.

Apply advanced engineering principles to develop new technologies and methodologies.

Solve highly complex technical problems with innovative, practical solutions.

Design and test analog and digital computing hardware, radar and radiation detection systems, and circuit/control test equipment.

Please note:

This position is based out of Owego, NY and requires up to 10% travel.

Have significant experience designing complex electronic hardware

Demonstrate strong technical leadership and mentoring skills

Independently drive advanced engineering efforts and technical decisions

Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Are capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret-level security clearance

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and of 9+ years of relevant experience.

-Experience with digital circuit / logic design (schematic creation), processor design & architecture.

-Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

-Ability to travel up to 10%.

Desired Skills

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

-Experience in designing Aero-Defense Industry compliant designs (For example: DO-254, DO-178, SOSA).

-Project and team leadership experience.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
