The Opportunity

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our Boston team. You will own the design and implementation of complex hardware architectures for industrial machinery, from system diagrams through production support. This role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver reliable, compliant systems.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and design hardware architectures for full industrial machinery or components, identifying innovative solutions and ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Work with the project team to define project architecture from the ground up.
  • Implement assigned projects by developing system diagrams and bills of materials, covering safety procedures across the full equipment lifecycle.
  • Support production during assembly and testing phases, providing clarifications and managing necessary technical modifications.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments on feasibility studies, supporting or leading efforts as directed.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and competency development through documentation and on-the-job training.
  • Support the project manager in project management activities, including participation in cross-functional teams.

You Should Have

  • High School Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware design for complex systems using EPlan and/or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of technical specifications, standards, and safety regulations for electrical and pneumatic systems, including SISTEMA and Safety Risk Analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
