Experienced Foreman – Join Our Team at Landscaping by J. Michael

Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for an experienced Foreman to join our growing team. If you’re someone who takes pride in leading crews, enjoys hands-on work, and is passionate about the green industry, we’d love to hear from you.

With over 40 years as a trusted leader in Massachusetts, we provide high-quality landscaping services to both commercial and residential clients across the South Shore. Our long-standing reputation comes from the care, craftsmanship, and expertise we bring to every project.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Foreman, you’ll play a key role in bringing our projects to life. You’ll lead a crew on-site and help ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Lead and manage your crew, making sure everyone is set up for success each day
• Lay out projects and guide the team through installations
• Work on a variety of builds including walkways, patios, natural stone walls, bluestone, pavers, and segmented walls
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other tools
• Help maintain equipment and vehicles, keeping everything clean, safe, and in good working order

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in masonry and landscape construction
• A valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Hydraulic license is a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• CDL B is preferred
• A strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example
