Build Your Skills. Get Paid Well. Be Part of a Team.
Handyman Connection of Moon Township is looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in doing good work. Whether you're just getting started in the trades or you've been swinging a hammer for decades, if you show up, communicate well, and care about quality we want to talk to you.
This is a **W-2 hourly employee position** with flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on your skill level, and a team environment where good work gets noticed and rewarded.
What the Work Looks Like:
No two days are exactly the same here, and that's part of what makes this a great fit for the right person. On any given day you might be:
- Working independently on a job site completing repairs or improvements
- Assisting a senior craftsperson on a larger project like a kitchen or bathroom remodel, deck build, or exterior work
- Running for materials or helping prep a job site
- Handling smaller handyman tasks such as securing shutters, caulking windows, hanging shelves, patching drywall, and similar work
- Interacting directly with customers on site
We need people who are flexible, coachable, and take ownership of whatever task is in front of them whether it's a solo job or a support role that day.
What We're Looking For:
We hire across a wide range of experience levels. Here's what matters most regardless of where you fall on that spectrum:
- You show up when you say you will - reliability is non-negotiable
- You communicate clearly with our office team, other craftspeople and with customers on site
- You take pride in your work - whatever the task, you do it right
- You're a problem solver - when something doesn't go as planned on a job site, you figure it out rather than walking away
- You're comfortable with physical work this is hands-on labor, including working at heights when needed
Skills and experience we value include, but are not limited to:
- General handyman / home repair
- Drywall — patching, finishing, carrying and installing
- Carpentry and trim work
- Painting — interior and exterior
- Tile and flooring installation
- Light plumbing and electrical
- Exterior work — siding, soffit, fascia, caulking, shutters
- Bathroom and kitchen remodel assistance
- Deck building and outdoor structures
You don't need experience in all of these. Entry-level candidates who are eager to learn are just as welcome as seasoned tradespeople looking for steady, flexible work.
Pay & Hours:
Pay is hourly and based on your skill set, experience, and availability — we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all rate. The more skills you bring, the more complex the work you can handle, and the more reliable you are, the higher your earning potential. Whether you're looking for part-time hours or a full week of work, your rate will reflect what you bring to the table.
Hours will vary based on the work available and your skill set. We'll always be straight with you about what we have — some weeks that may be full-time hours, other weeks it may be less. As your reliability and skills grow, so does your opportunity for consistent hours and higher pay.
