POSITION PURPOSE:
The Handyman will oversee and complete a wide range of repairs throughout the facility location. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work etc. We are looking for someone to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:
Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs
Regularly perform various maintained tasks
Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Provide minor painting services
Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
All other duties as defined as your supervisor
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.

VISION REQUIREMENT:
This position requires to have close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
