Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
• Perform minor repairs and handyperson tasks (e.g., fixing loose fixtures, tightening hardware, patching drywall, basic plumbing or electrical touch-ups, light carpentry)
• Change light bulbs, filters, and other routine maintenance items
• Climb stairs regularly to access upper floors, storage areas, and equipment
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and minor emergencies (spills, leaks, etc.)
• Maintain outdoor areas as needed (sweeping walkways, minor landscaping, minor snow/ice removal)
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Report larger repair needs to management

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred
• Basic handyperson skills (knowledge and use of tools, carpentry, and general repair experience)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders multiple times per shift
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lsb
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to bend, kneel, and reach as needed for cleaning and repair tasks
