Position Overview:
We are Looking for a handpiece production operator to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this position, you will be responsible for building finished dental hygiene tools with the use of multiple machined components and fixtures. Buffing/polishing, or soldering parts. This is an 8-hour shift. Mon-Fri.

Who you’ll work with:
- This role reports directly into our Production Supervisor but has partnership with the Operation Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain Safety and Quality Standards
- - Complete required in-process inspection reports
- - Accurately record production and inspection data
- - Follow all safety and standard operating procedures
- - Become familiar with ISO, FDA, and other applicable regulatory standards
- Support team and production operations
- - Complete required production documentation and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- - Support cross-training, and adapt to a regulation lean manufacturing environment
- - Participate in continuous improvement processes

QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a production, manufacturing environment and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in English, with the ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and professionally across all levels of the organization.
Technical Skills
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Build parts according to engineering specifications
- Make tips and form according to specifications
Compensation Range: $18
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.

Work Environment
Manufacturing/Distribution Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The role routinely involves working around machinery, equipment, and moving mechanical parts. The facility may be subject to varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and airborne particles such as dust or chemical fumes, depending on the area of the plant. This role may require periods of standing, sitting, or walking throughout the workday. Occasional bending, lifting, or carrying items up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, control, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk. Hearing abilities required for this environment include being able to clearly hear and respond to audible alarms, production equipment, forklifts, and other machinery to maintain a safe work environment. Individuals must be able to distinguish and understand verbal communication including instructions, safety warnings, and team discussions, sometimes in an environment with moderate to high background noise.
