The Haier Showroom in Auckland is a flagship brand space and a key engagement point for trade, builder, designer, developer and retail audiences. The showroom brings the Haier appliance and Home Solutions portfolio to life through expert hosting, product demonstration, training and brand‑aligned experiences.
What’s the opportunity?
Reporting to the GM of Marketing NZ, you will lead the day‑to‑day operation of the Haier Showroom, taking full accountability for showroom operations, presentation and visitor experience. Acting as the face of the Haier brand within the showroom, you will be the primary point of contact for all visitors, delivering quality hosting, product knowledge and support across the Haier Appliance and Home Solutions portfolio.
This is a hands‑on role and you will maintain showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards, manage New Product Introduction changeovers, seasonal updates and ensure the space always presents as a show‑ready environment. Working closely with Retail Sales, Builder Commercial teams, Product Teams, Training and Marketing, you will support customer visits and events that drive brand awareness and commercial outcomes.
You will also prepare the showroom for visits and events, manage visitor records, track activity and performance, report insights, and monitor competitor and market trends to keep the showroom experience relevant and competitive.
Our ideal applicant?
You are an experienced client‑facing professional with a background in showroom, retail or hospitality management. You are confident engaging B2B audiences including builders, designers, developers and trade clients, and pride yourself on delivering high‑quality, brand‑aligned experiences.
You will bring strong product presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling customer narratives. Highly organised and detail‑focused, you are comfortable supporting sales teams with proposals and specifications, coordinating events, managing operations, and tracking and reporting performance metrics. Knowledge of the market or the appliance category is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
You demonstrate sound judgement, decisiveness, accountability and a strong sense of ownership. Flexibility is required, including working weekends and evenings for events and client visits, along with a commitment to health and safety responsibilities at all times.
